Zachery Dingle is giving back to fellow Baltimoreans in a fulfilling way.
The city council candidate will be hosting a drive-thru food pantry event on Saturday, May 9th at 1123 East Belvedere Ave. near the Alameda Shopping Center.
The event will take place between 11: 00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Residents will receive canned goods and other non-perishable food items.
Dingle decided to organize the food drive to help fellow residents in the 4th District meet one of their basic needs during this COVID-19 crisis.
“People in this city are suffering from fear and anxiety regarding what’s to come with this pandemic,” the candidate said. “They are unable to leave their homes and many have lost employment. For those of us able to provide relief, it is important that we help as much as possible to help those most in need remain stable.”
If you would like to volunteer or donate to help feed between 250-300 families, please visit www.zacdingle.com or call 443-475-0854. The last day to donate food is on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
“My mission is to utilize my 20+ years of experience as a social worker to build coalitions, reduce crime, cultivate relationships, and facilitate healing,” Dingle said.
The campaign requests that all district 4 residents come out and support each other on Saturday by giving a helping hand to the community.
Dingle’s motto, “We all we got, we all we need, ” resonates with many residents of the Baltimore City 4th District.
